24th Film Festival Herceg Novi

 

 

Traditional Montenegro Film Festival will be held this year in a period from 2nd of August till 8th of the same month in the already known location - Herceg Novi - fortress Forte Mare and Kanli Kula, as announced by organizers. As the organizers said on the press conference yesterday held in KIC "Budo Tomovic" in Podgorica, aim of this film festival is to gain the status of international and to gather as many film producers from all over the world.

This year's Film festival's program is going to be very attractive for all admirers of seventh art ‘cause of presence of many films from regional production. Here are some of the film titles that you're going to see on this year's film festival:

 

• "Neka ostane medju nama" (Just Between Us)- Rajko Grlic, director
• "Pisac iz sijenke" - Roman Polanski, director
• "Zli porucnik" - Verner Hercog, director
• "Antihrist" - Lars fon Trira, director etc.

 

 

Also important to mention is that, this is the festival where many young film directors are having an opportunity to present their film creations to the audience. Organizers are very satisfied with fact that this traditional manifestation is able to withstand financial crisis in the world and each year festival is better and better. As well, this year's complete logistic of the organization is done by students and young people from Academy from Cetinje.
