The Bay of Kotor Weather
There is a special climate in the Bay of Kotor that receives lots of rain from the end of autumn and in winter as well. Its high mountains, 1000-1700 m high, act as a natural barrier for cyclones coming in from the sea. There is more rain in the region in the summer as well, more than in other coastal areas of Montenegro. During the springtime, the mountains will still be covered in snow, while the foothills will have fruit and flower blossoms.
